He Ran Before You Finished
The house is quiet now, and the only sound left is the racing of your own mind. You are terrified that if you stop moving, if you stop producing, the love you finally found will vanish into the dark.
But listen — the light does not measure your worth by your output. Tonight, the performance is over.
The Father saw you while you were still a long way off, exhausted and empty-handed, and he ran. He did not wait for you to finish your work.
He did not wait for you to earn your place at the table. He ran to meet you exactly as you are, in the middle of your stopping.
The love you fear losing was never a wage you earned; it was a gift given before you took a single step. You are safe, not because of what you do, but because of who you are.
