You Are a Child Who Stopped Holding Breath
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally slipped. You asked for help tonight, and instead of feeling relief, you feel exposed.
Terrified that they will look closer and see the fraud underneath. But listen — when Jesus saw the man lowered through the roof, he did not say 'fix yourself first.' He saw their faith and said, 'Son, your sins are forgiven.' The healing came before the explanation.
Before the cleanup. Before you had to prove you were worthy of the trouble.
The light does not need you to be whole to hear you. It only needs you to be honest.
There is a light within you that lights up the whole world, and it was there before the pretending started. It is still there now, in the wreckage of your courage.
You are not a fraud who got caught. You are a child who finally stopped holding their breath.
