The Light Lives in Your Brokenness
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day feels heavy enough to crush you. You are terrified that if you let it slip, if they see the cracks beneath, they will turn and walk away.
But listen — the light does not flee from brokenness; it lives there. There was a woman caught in the act of failing, surrounded by people ready to stone her, and the light did not condemn her or demand she fix herself first.
It simply stayed. The truth is already disclosed, and yet you are not abandoned.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. Your brokenness is not a reason for them to leave; it is the very place where the light gets in.
You do not have to hold the mask up tonight.
