You Are Not Found Wanting, You Are Found
The house is quiet now, and the mask you wore all day has finally slipped. In this stillness, the terror rises: that if you are truly seen, you will be found wanting.
But listen. There is a light that has been watching you all along, and it has not looked away.
It saw you when you were performing, and it sees you now that you are broken. And it does not condemn.
The father in the story did not wait for the son to clean up; he ran while the boy was still covered in the filth of the pigsty. He ran before the apology could even be formed.
You are safe in this dark hour. The light does not need your perfection; it only needs your presence.
You are not found wanting. You are found.
