The Light Remains Before You Remember
The house is quiet now, and the day's noise has settled into a heavy inventory of what you couldn't feel. You try to reach back for the last time your heart actually jumped with genuine excitement, but the memory is gray, distant, like a story you heard about someone else.
It feels like the light inside you has gone out, or maybe you just forgot how to see it. But listen — the darkness gathering outside cannot overcome the life that is already in you.
The light does not depend on your ability to remember it. It was there before the excitement faded, and it is here now in the silence.
You do not need to manufacture a spark to prove you are alive. The sun of mercy is already rising within you, even in this gathering dark.
The excitement will return, but until then, the light remains.
