The Light Burns In The Silence
The house is quiet now, and the day is folding itself away. You woke for a second, reaching for the phone to share something small and silly from your morning, before the silence rushed back in to meet your hand.
That hollow space where a name used to be feels heavy when the sun goes down. But listen — the light does not need an audience to shine.
It was burning inside you before you ever spoke a word, and it burns just as bright in the silence. You are not defined by who is there to hear you.
You are defined by the light that fills you, whether you speak or stay still. The gathering dark cannot put out what was never dependent on the day.
