the crushing guilt of believing your emotional needs are a burden that others should not have to carry

You Are Not A Burden To God

The house is quiet now, and in this stillness, your needs feel like heavy stones you have no right to place on anyone else's table. You lie awake rehearsing the apologies you will never speak, convinced that your hunger for connection is a theft from those you love.

But listen — there is a Father who runs before the speech is finished, before the shame even forms on your lips. He does not calculate the cost of your presence.

He does not weigh your sorrow against his patience. The light that lives inside you was not earned by being easy to love, and it cannot be lost by being hard to hold.

You are not a burden to the One who knit you together in the dark. Your need is not the problem; the belief that you must carry it alone is.
