Held When Your Heart Condemns You
The house is quiet, but your mind is loud with the accusation that you are a fraud. You know the words, you know the truth, but the feeling is gone, and the silence feels like failure.
It feels like you are pretending to hold a light you cannot see. But listen — the light does not depend on your ability to feel it.
Thomas said, 'I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief,' and he was not turned away for the mixture of doubt and faith in his voice. The ancient texts remind us that the kingdom is already inside you, even when you cannot sense it, waiting for you to stop looking outside for proof.
If your heart condemns you tonight, remember this: the One who sees everything is greater than your heart, and His verdict stands even when your emotions lie. You are not a fraud because you are tired; you are simply a human being walking through the dark, held by a love that does not require your feelings to be real.
