rehearsing the apology you are too afraid to deliver

Bring Your Trembling Truth Into Light

The house is quiet, but your mind is loud with a speech you are too afraid to speak. You rehearse the words, the tone, the apology that might finally fix what feels broken between you and someone else.

The fear says: if you say it, you will be rejected. If you stay silent, you are safe.

But safety is not peace. The light does not ask you to perform perfection before you speak.

It asks only that you bring the truth, however trembling, into the open. What is hidden is meant to be disclosed.

The courage to speak is not in your strength, but in the light that already lives inside you, waiting to be brought forth. You do not have to know how the other person will respond.

You only have to let the light shine through your honesty. The night is long, but the truth is longer.
