The Light Does Not Flinch From You
The hand reaches out, and yours pulls back as if your skin were fire. You are convinced that the invisible stain on you will burn them the moment you touch.
But the light does not burn what it touches — it heals it. There is a room inside you where no one else can see, a place you go to be alone with your shame.
Close that door. Not to hide, but to rest.
The one who knows every hidden thing is already in that room with you, and he is not recoiling. He is not afraid of your raw skin.
He sees the stain and calls it clean. You do not have to protect your lover from your darkness.
The light has already touched you, and it did not flinch.
