Your Love Is The Mercy They Sleep Under
The hallway is quiet, but your heart is loud with the math of fear. You stand before the closed door, terrified that your love might be the very thing that wakes them.
That opening it will shatter the peace they finally found. You are holding your breath as if silence is the only offering you have left.
But listen — the light does not ask you to be perfect. It does not demand a flawless quiet.
Go home to your own people, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you. Your presence is not a threat to their rest.
It is the mercy they are sleeping under. The peace in that room is not so fragile that your love can break it.
