The Light Shines Even When Ignored
The door clicked shut, and the silence that followed was heavier than the words you didn't say. They saw your red eyes, the raw evidence of a night you survived alone, and they simply walked past — offering no question, no comfort, just the quiet of being overlooked.
It feels like a verdict, as if your pain is too messy to acknowledge, too inconvenient to name. But the light does not require their witness to be real.
Thomas 77 says the light is there if you split a piece of wood or lift a stone — it is in the very air of this room where you were ignored. Your worth was not diminished by their silence, because the light inside you does not depend on being seen by others to shine.
They may have looked away, but the One who knows every tear has already gathered you in. The mask can come down now; you are safe here.
