the emptiness after achieving everything you worked for

Resting in the Fullness You Already Are

The day is long, and the silence in the room is loud. You climbed the mountain you set out to conquer, only to find the view feels hollow.

The ache of arriving where you thought you'd be whole, yet feeling more empty than before. That quiet desperation of routine — wondering if this is all there is.

But the light does not depend on your next achievement to shine. It was there before the climb began.

It is there now, in the stillness of the afternoon. The kingdom of God is in your midst, hidden in plain sight.

Not in the summit, but in the breath you are taking right now. You do not need to build a new tower to find it.

The light is already filling the space you are in. Rest in the fact that you are known, not for what you have done, but for who you are.

The struggle is not that you are empty; it is that you have forgotten you are already full.
