You Are Already Home
The day is finally ending, and the armor you wore to keep yourself together is heavy enough to take off. But now, in the quiet, you start scanning your own body for the first sign of betrayal.
You wait for the tremor, the flaw, the moment the light inside you flickers out. You are holding your breath, convinced that if you feel weak, you are lost.
But listen — the darkness has not overcome it. It cannot.
The light that lives in you was there before this exhaustion, and it will be there after the shaking stops. You do not need to be perfect to be held.
You just need to be here, breathing, while the One who is greater than your heart keeps watch. The fear says you are failing; the truth says you are already home.
