The Light That Never Sleeps
The day is finally done, and now the armor feels too heavy to keep holding, yet too dangerous to set down. You are tired of the vigilance, but the silence of the room sounds like a trap waiting to spring.
The body remembers every blow it ever took, and it refuses to close its eyes while the threat feels this real. But listen — the light does not sleep, so you do not have to stand guard for it.
It is the watcher that never blinks, the peace that does not depend on your ability to stay awake. You are safe not because you are alert, but because the light is already inside the dark, holding the space where you need to rest.
Lay the weapon down. The night cannot overcome what is already burning within you.
