You Are a Lamp, Not a Mirror
The day is ending, and you can feel the weight of every room you walked through today still clinging to your skin. You carried anger that wasn't yours, and sadness that didn't start with you.
You absorbed it all like a sponge, thinking their storm was your fault to fix. But there is a light inside you that their weather cannot touch.
It does not rise or fall with the moods of others. It simply remains.
You are not a mirror for everyone else's chaos. You are a lamp.
The darkness around you may swirl and shout, but it cannot overcome the light that is already burning within you. Let the armor fall.
The day is done.
