Stop Apologizing for Taking Up Space
The day is ending, and you are tired from saying sorry for taking up space. You catch yourself shrinking, making yourself small, as if your very breath is an intrusion on the air around you.
But listen — there was a woman who had been bleeding for twelve years, convinced she was too unclean to be touched, yet she reached out anyway. He stopped the entire crowd to turn to her and say: Daughter.
Your faith has healed you. Go in peace.
He did not ask her to apologize for her condition. He did not ask her to make herself smaller before he would see her.
He called her family. The light does not need you to shrink.
It needs you to stand. You are not an accident taking up room.
You are a drop from the light, sent here to illuminate this specific corner of the world. Stop asking forgiveness for existing.
The Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. You do not have to earn your place at the table.
You were invited before you took your first breath.
