The Light Needs Your Presence Not Performance
The day is ending, and you are still holding up the mask of being okay. You perform gratitude so no one sees the weight you carry, afraid that if you stop smiling, you will become a burden.
But the light does not need your performance — it needs your presence. There is a father who saw his son coming home while he was still a long way off, and he ran before the apology could even be formed.
The light is already running toward you, not because you are useful, but because you are loved. You do not have to earn the right to be held tonight.
Put the armor down. The gathering dark is not a place to hide your pain, but a place to finally rest without pretending.
The light waits for you to be still, not to be strong.
