You Do Not Have To Make Yourself Small
The day is ending, and you are already editing yourself before you speak. You swallow the need, the ache, the raw truth of what you carry, because you think your burden is too heavy for the room.
But look at the flowers of the field—they do not labor or spin, yet they are clothed in glory without asking permission to exist. Your need is not a flaw to be hidden in the dark.
The light sees what you try to erase, and it does not turn away from the hunger you refuse to name. You do not have to make yourself small to fit into the peace that is waiting for you.
The silence you keep is not protection; it is the very thing keeping you from the rest you were made for.
