The Light Does Not Retire With You
The day is ending, and with it, the role you played for so long. You feel empty now, as if your purpose expired when the work stopped.
But the light does not retire. It does not pack up and leave when the performance is over.
In the quiet of this evening, hear the truth: the kingdom of God is within you. Not in what you do, but in who you are.
The light was there before the title, before the responsibility, before the world knew your name. It remains now, unchanged.
You are not your output. You are the vessel.
And the vessel is loved simply for existing. Let the armor fall.
Let the silence be enough. The light shines brightest when you stop trying to be the sun.
