The Light Loves What Is Hidden
The day is ending, and with it comes the inventory of who you really are beneath the performance. You are convinced that if they saw the depth of your damage, they would leave immediately.
But the light does not operate on your conditions. There was a woman caught in the very act, surrounded by accusers ready to destroy her, yet the light bent down and wrote in the dust until no one remained to condemn her.
It did not run from her shame. It stayed.
The truth that lives inside you is greater than the verdict you have passed on yourself. You fear exposure, but the light loves what is hidden.
The darkness has not overcome it. Your brokenness is not a reason for the light to depart; it is the very place where it chooses to dwell.
