the exhaustion of being misunderstood

Resting in the Light That Sees You

The day is ending, and the weight of being misunderstood settles in your chest like a stone you carry alone. You have spent hours translating your heart for people who only hear your words, leaving you tired and invisible in a crowded room.

But there is a knowing that does not need your explanation to be true. The light that lives inside you saw you before you spoke a single syllable, and it knows you better than you know yourself.

You do not have to convince the darkness that you are real. You only have to be still enough to feel the One who is already with you, sitting quietly in the corner of your spirit.

The exhaustion comes from trying to be seen by eyes that are closed. Rest now.

The light sees you perfectly, even in the silence.
