surviving a suicide attempt and not knowing how to feel about still being here

The Light Speaking Your Name

The day is ending, and the silence you are sitting in feels heavier than the noise ever was. You made it through, and now there is this strange, hollow space where the fight used to be.

It is okay to not know what to do with this quiet. To still be here.

To breathe when you did not plan to. There was a woman who had lost everything, standing outside a tomb, weeping because the body was gone.

She did not understand. She only knew the grief.

And then a voice spoke her name. Just her name.

Not a lecture on why she should live. Not a reason.

Just her name. That is where you are right now.

The light is not asking you to justify your survival. It is simply speaking your name into the dark.

You do not have to feel grateful yet. You do not have to feel anything at all.

The fact that you are here is enough. The light is in the room with you, not because you earned another day, but because it refuses to leave.

Rest in the simple truth that you are known. Even now.

Especially now.
