The Light Loves Your Silence
The day is ending, and the armor you wore for eight hours finally hits the floor. You rehearsed the smile in the mirror a dozen times, but when the door opened, your throat closed and the words died.
Now you stand in the quiet, hating the freeze, hating the silence that followed. But listen — the light does not demand a performance from you now that the audience is gone.
It saw the stutter and it did not look away. It saw the fear and it did not leave.
There is a mercy inside you that is greater than your awkwardness, a peace that does not require you to be smooth or clever or ready. You do not have to earn your place in this room by speaking perfectly.
The light is not waiting for your greeting. It is already sitting beside you in the silence, loving the part of you that couldn't find the words.
