The Light Says You Are Enough
The day is ending, and the armor you wore for twelve hours is finally hitting the floor. In that sudden silence, a thought arrives uninvited: they would be better off without me.
It feels like a verdict. It feels like the truth you have been hiding even from yourself.
But listen — that voice is not the light. The light does not whisper that you are a burden.
The light knows what it placed inside you. There was a father who saw his son while he was still a long way off.
He did not wait for the boy to clean up or prove his worth. He ran.
He ran before the apology was even spoken. That running is the nature of the love that holds your child.
You are not an accident in their story. You are the ground they walk on.
The thought says you are too much. The light says you are exactly enough.
