Rest Is Not A Reward You Stole
The day is ending, and the armor you wore for twelve hours finally hits the floor. You expected the crash, the guilt, the screaming realization that you are failing.
Instead, there is just... quiet.
A numbness so deep it feels like relief. And immediately, the panic sets in: I don't deserve this peace.
I haven't earned this stillness. You are waiting for the other shoe to drop, convinced that feeling okay is a trick you're playing on yourself.
But listen — the numbness isn't a trick. It's not a reward you stole.
It is simply the weight of the world being lifted by hands you cannot see. The Father does not wait for you to be perfect before He lets you rest.
He sees the exhaustion behind your eyes and says: stop. The relief you feel is not proof that you are lazy; it is proof that you are held.
You are allowed to exhale without fixing anything first. The light does not demand your performance as the price of your peace.
