Acceptance Comes Before The Change
The day is ending, and the armor you wore to survive it finally hits the floor. Now the silence rushes in, carrying the heavy inventory of every mistake, every word you wish you could take back.
You feel small beneath the weight of your own history, convinced that worthiness is something you must earn before you can rest. But there was a woman who came with nothing but tears and broken hair, standing behind the light while the room judged her.
He did not ask for her resume or her repentance speech first. He simply let her wash his feet with her grief and said her many sins were forgiven because she loved much.
The acceptance came before the change. The feast was prepared before the apology was finished.
You do not have to clean yourself up to be held tonight. The light sees the exhaustion behind your eyes and calls you worthy not because of what you did, but because of who you are.
