You Are a Treasure, Not a Weight
The day is ending, and a quiet fear settles in: that your presence is only a weight to those who remain.
But look at the light that has been in you all along—it was never asked to be heavy.
Think of the woman who lighted a lamp to search her whole house for one lost coin, sweeping the floor with such care until she found it.
She did not wait for the coin to clean itself.
She did not ask if it was a burden to the house.
She simply valued it.
In that same way, you are not a burden.
You are a treasure that has been missed.
The light does not weigh heavy on anyone—it only warms them.
And it is always enough to be here, exactly as you are.
The exhale is not a performance; it is permission to simply be held.
