You Are a Child to Be Held
The day is closing its heavy eyes, and you are counting the weight of your own weariness. You worry that your exhaustion is a stone you are forcing someone else to carry.
That your need is too much. That your silence is a burden.
But listen — the light does not stagger under the weight of your humanity. It kneels to wash the dust from your feet.
It does not ask you to be lighter before it will hold you. It simply opens its arms.
You are not a problem to be solved. You are a child to be held.
The fear says you are too heavy. The truth says you are exactly who the light came for.
