The Light Has Already Turned The Key
The day is done. The armor comes off.
And in that sudden quiet, every key turning in the building sounds like it might be for your door. You hold your breath.
Waiting to see if someone is coming home to you, or if it's just the neighbor closing up shop. That moment of suspension—between hope and the hollow click of a lock that isn't yours—is where the loneliness lives tonight.
But listen. The light does not keep you waiting in the hallway of your own heart.
It has already turned the key. It is already inside, sitting at your table, waiting for you to exhale.
You are not the one being left out in the dark. You are the house where the light has already made its home.
