You Are the Light Coming Home
The day is done, and the quiet you wanted has arrived, but it feels like an empty room. You have spent years searching everywhere for something you cannot name, thinking if you just looked harder, you would find it.
But the search itself is the exhaustion. The thing you are chasing is not a destination you reach after the sun goes down.
It is the very breath you take when you finally stop running. The light does not hide from you in the dark.
It waits for you to be still enough to feel it already shining inside your chest. You are not looking for the light.
You are the light, finally coming home to itself.
