The Father Runs Before You Speak
The day is done, and the beliefs you built your house on are fading with the light. You feel like a stranger in your own skin, unsure of who remains when the faith falls away.
But the light does not depend on your ability to name it. There was a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off — broken, empty, convinced he was no longer worthy of a name.
He did not wait for the speech. He ran.
Before the apology, before the theology was fixed — he ran. Your confusion is not the end of the story.
It is simply the dark road where the running happens. You are not losing yourself; you are being found by a love that knows you better than your doubts do.
The night is gathering, but the Father is already moving toward you.
