the exhaustion of having to prove you belong in spaces that were not built for you

You Are the Child Who Came Home

The day has gathered its dark around you, and the weight of proving you belong feels heavier than the night itself. You have walked through rooms that were not built for your feet, speaking a language that was not meant for your tongue, trying to earn a place at a table that was already set for you.

There is a father who saw his son coming home from a long way off, covered in the dust of a world that rejected him, and before the apology could even form on his lips, the father ran. He did not ask for credentials.

He did not ask for proof of worthiness. He simply embraced the one who was already his.

You do not have to keep knocking on doors that the light has already opened from the inside. The truth lives in us and will be with us forever, not because we fought for it, but because it recognized us first.

Stop performing for a seat that was reserved for you before the foundation of the world. You are not a guest in the light; you are the child who has finally come home.
