You Do Not Need to Prove Worth
The day has finally stopped moving, and now the silence is loud enough to hear your own thoughts racing. You are lying there rehearsing tomorrow, building arguments in the dark to prove you aren't empty, to prove you have something to offer when the sun comes up.
But you do not need to manufacture worth before morning arrives. The light does not ask you to perform; it simply waits for you to stop.
There is a peace that comes not from having the right words ready, but from realizing you are already held. You can put the armor down.
The conversations will wait. The only thing required of you tonight is to breathe.
Rest is not something you earn by finishing your thinking; it is a gift waiting for you to receive it.
