You Are the Light They Cannot Define
The sun has gone down, and now the world tells you who you are based on the shadow you cast. Too much of this.
Not enough of that. As if your skin were a cage they built around you and locked from the outside.
But the light did not come from the sun, and it does not depend on the day. You came from the light, the place where the light came into being on its own accord.
That is your origin. Not the color they see, but the source they cannot.
There is light within a person of light, and it lights up the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.
The darkness is not your skin. The darkness is the forgetting.
Tonight, when the voices are loud and the labels stick, remember: you are not what they say you are. You are the light that woke up inside a body they tried to define.
And no definition can hold what has no end.
