The Light Stays When You Hide
The day has ended, and the armor you wore to keep the moment from breaking is finally heavy enough to set down. You said 'fine' because the truth felt too large for the room, too dangerous for the silence.
But the light was not fooled by the word, and it was not offended by the hiding. It saw the tremor in your voice and stayed anyway.
There is a room inside you where no performance is required, a place where the mask dissolves into the quiet. You do not have to explain the silence now.
You only have to let the love that lives there hold the part of you that is not fine.
