swallowing your own voice mid-sentence because you feel your needs are an imposition

Your Need Is Where Light Enters

The day ends, and you swallow the words rising in your throat because you believe your needs are too heavy for anyone to carry. You feel like an imposition, so you shrink back into the quiet, letting the sentence die before it reaches the air.

But the light does not see your voice as a burden; it sees your silence as the place where it longs to enter. There was a man born blind, and the world assumed his condition was a punishment, a flaw that made him lesser.

Yet the light looked at him and said the darkness was not his fault, but the canvas for something greater to be shown. Your need is not a flaw that disqualifies you; it is the very opening where the work of the light becomes visible.

You do not have to earn the right to speak by being small enough to fit in the corner. The Father is not waiting for you to finish your apology before He listens; He is already leaning in to hear the whisper you were afraid to release.
