The Light Does Not Flinch At Your Tremble
The day ends, and the mask comes off. Now the room is quiet, and your mind is loud. You are replaying the exact tone of your own voice saying hello, convinced it sounded desperate. Needy. Too much.
But listen — the light does not flinch at your tone. It heard the tremble in Peter's voice when he called out from the waves, and it did not correct his pitch. It reached out its hand. Immediately.
You are analyzing a performance the light never asked for. It does not want your polished greeting. It wants your presence.
The darkness has not overcome the truth of who you are.
Your voice was not too desperate for the One who ran to meet you while you were still a long way off.
