The Silence Is Holding You Now
The day ends, and the armor you wore to keep the screaming at bay finally hits the floor. You are terrified that in this sudden quiet, the noise inside you will become deafening.
But the silence is not a trap—it is a holding. Jesus once sighed deeply before speaking peace to a man who could not hear; that sigh was the sound of the light feeling your weight before it lifted it.
You do not have to outrun your own voice anymore. The screaming you fear is just the sound of a heart that has been running too long without rest.
Let it cry out. The light is not afraid of your volume.
It sits with you in the exhale, not to silence you, but to prove that even your loudest pain cannot drown out the love that holds you.
