typing out a raw confession in the notes app and then deleting it letter by letter until the screen is blank again

The Truth Remains Before You Erase It

The cursor blinks like a heartbeat you're trying to hide. You type the truth into the glowing rectangle, fingers shaking, letting the worst parts of you finally touch the light.

Then you stop. You press backspace.

Letter by letter, the confession disappears until the screen is blank again, and the mask slides back into place. But notice this: the words were real before you erased them.

The truth existed even when no one else saw it. The light does not need your performance to be present; it was already there, watching you type, and it was there when you deleted.

You are not defined by the blank screen, but by the courage it took to write the first word.
