You Are Known Even When You Stumble
The coffee is warm in your hands, but your mind is already rehearsing the next sentence, terrified that a slip of the tongue will reveal the fraud inside. You smile at the desk, nod at the right moments, and pray no one notices the actor behind the eyes.
But the light does not need your performance to see you. It sees the exhaustion beneath the script.
There is a freedom in knowing that the truth of who you are was settled before you ever spoke a word. You do not have to hold the mask together for the light to stay.
It was already inside you before the first lie you told yourself about being enough. The panic says you must be perfect to be kept.
The light says you are known even when you stumble. You are not a fraud hiding in the plain sight of others.
You are a child of light learning to take the mask off, one quiet breath at a time.
