The Light Beneath Your Mask
The coffee is cold. The keys are missing.
And that one small thing you forgot has pulled a thread that unraveled the whole morning. Now you are walking through your day wearing a face that says 'I am fine' while inside, everything is fraying.
You are performing okayness for an audience that cannot see the panic behind your eyes. But the light sees the mask.
It sees the effort it takes to hold the smile in place. It does not ask you to fix the day or reweave the thread.
It simply whispers: I am here, beneath the performance. You do not have to be perfect to be held.
The day is broken, but you are not. The light shines not because your morning went right, but because it lives in you regardless of what went wrong.
