Stop Pretending You Are Not Hungry
The clock strikes two, and the question comes: 'How are you?' You say 'fine' because the world demands performance, not truth. You swallow the starvation inside to keep the peace, to keep the mask from slipping.
But the light does not need your polish. It does not need the 'blessed' you perform for the crowd.
In the middle of the day, when the sun is high and the shadows are short, the truth is waiting for you to stop pretending. There is a hunger in you that no amount of smiling can feed.
You were sent into this world like a drop from the light, not to hide your thirst but to illuminate the dry places. The child of true Humanity exists within you, and it is tired of the act.
Follow it. Stop performing the part of the one who has it all together.
The light is not afraid of your starvation. It is the bread you have been pretending you don't need.
You do not have to earn the right to be hungry. You only have to admit you are.
