The Dawn Holds You Before You Rise
The ceiling is still there. The words you are rehearsing feel heavy, like stones you must carry across a river before you've even stepped into the water.
You are convinced that if you do not find the perfect arrangement tonight, the morning will reveal you as a fraud. But the sun is already rising somewhere, painting the sky without a script, without a plan, without a single worry about whether it is enough.
It just arrives. The light does not prepare; it simply shines.
And the same light that wakes the world is already awake inside you, waiting for your eyes to open. You do not need to build a bridge to the morning with your anxiety; the dawn is coming whether you are ready or not.
The Father's tender mercy is not a reward for your perfect performance; it is the ground you will stand on when you stumble. You are not exposed by the dawn; you are held by it.
The light was there before your first thought, and it will be there after your last.
