The Light Behind Your Mask
The bathroom mirror catches you off guard before the day begins. You stare at the reflection, but the eyes looking back feel like a stranger's—worn, distant, hiding behind a smile you haven't even put on yet.
It is exhausting to construct a face that the world will accept while the real you fades into the background. But listen—there is a light inside you that does not need to be manufactured or performed.
It was there before the mask slipped on, and it remains untouched by the role you play. The Father sees the person behind the performance, not the disguise you wear to survive the morning.
You do not have to convince the light that you are worthy; it already knows the face beneath the fatigue. The reflection may look tired today, but the spirit within you is still whole.
