Loved Because You Are Known
The afternoon sun is unforgiving. It exposes the dust on the shelf and the crack in the cup.
You are holding your breath, convinced that if anyone sees the one thing you did wrong, the whole structure of your life will collapse. You believe your acceptance is a performance you must maintain perfectly.
But the light does not operate on the logic of the courtroom. There was a woman caught in the very act, surrounded by accusers ready to destroy her.
The light did not ask for her resume. It did not demand she fix her mistake before it would speak.
It simply bent down, waited for the noise to stop, and offered a new beginning without a single condition. The fear says one slip makes you a fraud.
The truth says you are held even when your hands are shaking. You are not loved for your perfection.
You are loved because you are known.
