The Light Sees Your True Face
The bathroom door locks out the noise, but it locks you in with the performance. You rehearse the laugh until it sounds like someone else's voice, then you paste it on and walk back into the light.
But the light you are trying to impress already sees the face behind the mask. It knows the weariness you are hiding.
You do not need to convince the world that you are whole to be held by what is holy. The light does not ask for your performance; it asks for your presence.
Walk back in, not as the person they expect, but as the one who is already loved.
