The Tremor Is Something Waking Up
The afternoon sun is unforgiving. It exposes the dust motes dancing in the silence you've kept for years.
You open your mouth to speak, and the sound that comes out feels foreign—cracked, thin, like a door hinge rusted shut by time. That tremor in your throat is not a sign that you are broken.
It is the sound of something waking up. The light does not require a perfect voice.
It only requires that you use the one you have. Jesus stood before a crowd and saw a man paralyzed by his own history, and he simply said: 'Get up.' He did not wait for the man to walk perfectly.
He did not wait for the trembling to stop. The command was the cure.
Your voice cracking is not failure. It is the first step out of the paralysis.
The light is not listening for eloquence. It is listening for you.
