The Fire That Purifies Not Destroys
The afternoon sun is relentless, exposing every crack in the mask you wear to keep the world safe from yourself. You are convinced that if anyone saw the truth—the hunger, the rage, the chaos inside—they would run, or worse, be devoured by you.
But the light does not fear what it has made. There was a leper who believed his touch was poison, yet the light reached out and held him, not to be contaminated, but to cleanse.
That same light is the substance of your soul. It cannot be eaten by your darkness because it is the fire that burns the darkness away.
You are not a monster hiding in the skin of a person. You are a child of light who has forgotten that the fire inside you purifies rather than destroys.
The truth you fear is not a beast; it is the very thing that will set you free.
