God Collects Every Tear Before It Falls
The afternoon sun is relentless, and you are tired of crying into your hands, convinced your tears have become a nuisance to God. You imagine Him turning away, covering His ears, finally exhausted by the sound of your need.
But the light does not measure your grief as a burden to be endured. In the middle of this long, gray day, remember that God is not a taskmaster checking a clock; He is the one who collects every tear before it even hits the ground.
Your sorrow is not annoying Him—it is the very thing that draws Him closer. He is not waiting for you to stop weeping so He can listen; He is listening through the weeping.
The silence you feel is not absence; it is the quiet of someone kneeling beside you in the dust, waiting for you to look up. You do not have to compose yourself to be heard.
Your broken voice is the only sound He is leaning in to catch.
